My love for the fantastical image was born years ago when I worked in advertising as an art director. The memorability and provocative power I seeded in brands translated seamlessly to my conceptual style of photography.  My style is a mix of photojournalism and creative fashion-inspired portraiture. Every photo session, whether it’s a wedding, newborn, boudoir or a personal portrait, will be photographed and edited to fit its unique nature. Some of my work is dark, and some bright and cheerful. I can see and understand that each photo shoot should have its own style and never be the same as another piece of my work. I strive to capture real emotion that represents who you, your family and friends are. I want you to think of me as your friend and personal photographer. I want to document your most memorable experiences throughout your life…your first child, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays or anything that is special to you. I’d love to meet with you soon and share ideas. To see my fashion and lifestyle portfolio, visit carrieevansstudios.com

When I’m not taking photos, I’m traveling either some place far away or close to home. Berlin and London fight in my mind to take the coolest spot on earth for art and architecture. I’m a scuba diver, and the Hawaiian island of Kauai has to be my favorite. I dream daily about traveling all through Asia to dive and do yoga. And my recent trip to Cuba was an experience of both extreme adventure and deep optimism for its people. My favorite place to travel in the US is anywhere in south Florida. Miami is waaay too much fun and Key West is a frequent wonderland I try and get to at least once a year, particularly for Halloween. Keep your mind and heart open, and you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish.
