There are photoshoots and then there are mornings that remind me why I love what I do. Photographing Lindsey Schultz for the Faces of Design feature in Modern Luxury Interiors magazine was one of those experiences. Surrounded by beautiful materials, thoughtful design and endless inspiration, every moment felt like a celebration of creativity.

A Designer with an Eye for Timeless Architecture
Lindsey Schultz has a remarkable ability to blend architecture, luxury interiors, and intentional design into spaces that feel both sophisticated and welcoming. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and detail, and it was easy to see why she was selected for the Faces of Design feature. Every conversation during our session revealed someone who is genuinely passionate about creating environments that inspire the people who experience them.

Bringing a Design Story to Life
This session was created to capture more than beautiful portraits it was about telling the story behind Lindsey’s creative vision. Being photographed for an editorial feature meant the images needed to feel polished, authentic, and reflective of the elevated experience her studio provides. Together, we focused on creating photographs that showcased both her professionalism and the artistic perspective that defines her work.
Finding Inspiration Inside the MADE Showroom
Photographing inside the stunning showroom at MADE @materials_for_designers added something truly special to the session. The carefully curated materials, textures and architectural elements created the perfect backdrop for Lindsey’s story. I loved using the showroom’s natural beauty to complement her style, allowing every image to feel refined, modern, and connected to the world she creates for her clients.
Why This Session Stayed with Me
What I enjoyed most was watching Lindsey move effortlessly through the space, connecting naturally with the environment she knows so well. Those authentic moments—when someone is completely at ease doing what they love are always my favorite to photograph. Sessions like this remind me that great photography isn’t just about lighting or composition; it’s about capturing the passion behind someone’s life’s work.
As I packed up my camera that morning, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to photograph another inspiring woman making an incredible impact in the design industry. It’s always an honor to create images that become part of someone’s professional story, and I left feeling inspired by Lindsey’s creativity and dedication.
