There are photoshoots and then there are moments that remind me exactly why I love what I do. Photographing KT Tamm for Modern Luxury Interiors Magazine was one of those sessions a day filled with creativity, movement, personality, and the kind of effortless style that makes every frame come alive.

A Vision Rooted in Timeless Interior Design
Photographing KT was such a memorable experience because her creativity extends far beyond the finished room. She brings energy, confidence, and a distinctive point of view to everything she creates, and I could feel that immediately when we started shooting.
The home was still under construction, which made the session even more exciting. Instead of waiting for everything to be perfectly finished, we embraced the environment and allowed the story of the design process to become part of the photographs.
Finding Beauty in the Creative Process
Our goal was to create imagery that captured KT not only as an interior designer, but as the creative force behind the spaces she designs. For an editorial feature like Modern Luxury Interiors Magazine, I wanted the photographs to feel elevated and polished while still showing the personality and energy behind her work.
That meant looking beyond traditional portraits and finding moments that felt genuine. I wanted every image to communicate confidence, creativity, and a sense of effortless sophistication.

When the Construction Site Became Part of the Story
One of my favorite parts of the shoot was embracing the unexpected. I found myself climbing ladders, sitting on wood piles, and looking for interesting angles throughout a home that was still being transformed.
Those little details made the session feel dynamic and alive. Rather than hiding the construction, we used it to tell a bigger story the story of a designer who can walk into an unfinished space and already see the extraordinary finished result.

Creating Images That Feel Like Her
I’m always looking for more than a beautiful photograph. I want the images I create to feel connected to the person in front of my camera, and with KT, that meant allowing her natural confidence and creativity to lead the session.
Whether I was photographing a quiet portrait or capturing her moving through the space, I focused on creating images that felt editorial without losing the authentic personality that made the session so enjoyable.
For clients who are looking to create a polished visual presence for their business, I also love creating professional headshots that feel personal, confident, and true to who they are.
A Session I’ll Remember
Some photography sessions stay with me long after I pack up my camera. This was definitely one of them. I’m so proud of the images we created for KT and Modern Luxury Interiors Magazine, but I’m even more grateful for the experience of meeting someone whose energy and creativity made the entire shoot unforgettable.
I left this session reminded once again that the best photographs often come from being willing to embrace the unexpected and from working with people who bring something truly special to the frame.
