There are photoshoots and then there are sessions that feel like a celebration from the very first frame. Photographing Tricia Stover at The Scott Resort in Scottsdale was exactly that kind of experience. She walked in with confidence, energy, and a clear sense of who she is and together we made sure the photographs reflected it.
A Woman Who Knows the Power of Choosing Herself
Tricia is the definition of choosing yourself and doing it unapologetically. I loved that energy from the moment we started shooting. She carries herself with the confidence of a woman who knows where she’s going, celebrates how far she’s come, and isn’t afraid to take up space along the way.
As a fellow Six Figure Chick, Tricia brought an entrepreneurial spirit to the session that made every photograph feel purposeful. This wasn’t simply about creating beautiful portraits; it was about capturing the woman behind the success.
Turning The Scott Resort Into Our Playground
For this session, we took over The Scott Resort and made the entire property part of the story. I wanted the photographs to feel elevated, confident, and luxurious while still allowing Tricia’s personality to come through naturally.
Instead of staying in one predictable setting, we moved throughout the resort and looked for spaces that complemented her energy. Every corner gave us something different to work with, and Tricia had no trouble owning each one.
Confidence In Every Frame
When I photograph an entrepreneur, I’m always looking for those little moments when their confidence becomes effortless. With Tricia, those moments happened constantly.
I focused on movement, expression, strong compositions, and the beautiful details of the resort to create images that felt polished without feeling overly posed. The goal was to show confidence and success while keeping the photographs connected to who Tricia really is.
Celebrating Success Without Apology
One of my favorite things about personal branding photography is getting to witness people celebrate themselves. Tricia reminded me how powerful it can be to pause, acknowledge your accomplishments, and create images that represent the person you’ve worked so hard to become.
