Back in 2011, Mackenzie’s mom was one of my very first clients. She wanted portraits taken of her daughter at their favorite family spot — McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale. I still remember photographing Mackenzie riding the merry-go-round over and over again, capturing those joyful, carefree expressions that helped launch my photography business.
Fast forward to today — Mackenzie is now a high school graduate heading off to ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business, and I had the absolute pleasure of capturing her senior portraits in Scottsdale with a funky, unforgettable twist: a retro 70s themed senior photo shoot.

For Mackenzie’s graduation portraits, we ditched the traditional cap-and-gown shots and went full vintage. Huge thanks to the team at Thunderbird Lounge for letting us use their space for this unforgettable retro senior photo shoot.
