There are photoshoots that feel special from the very beginning, and photographing Laura Kehoe of Laura Kehoe Design is always one of them. Through countless features together, I have had the pleasure of capturing the thoughtful way she creates spaces that make everyday life feel a little more beautiful.

A Thoughtful Approach to Beautiful Living
What I love about photographing Laura is the intention behind everything she creates. Her approach to interior design feels personal and considered, with an incredible ability to bring beauty into the spaces where people actually live, gather, and make memories.
I’ve also loved photographing the shop she has curated, where that same design philosophy continues through carefully selected pieces for the home. There’s a wonderful consistency between Laura’s interiors and the objects she chooses everything feels beautiful without ever feeling forced.
Telling the Story Behind Her Designs
When I photograph Laura for editorial features, my goal is always to capture more than simply a beautifully designed room. I want the images to give a sense of the woman behind the vision and the thoughtfulness that goes into every decision.
Her work has been featured through Modern Luxury Interiors, making it especially important for me to create photographs that feel polished and editorial while still preserving the warmth and personality that make her work so recognizable.
Finding Beauty in the Details
Interior design photography gives me so many opportunities to slow down and really look. I’m drawn to the small detail the textures, materials, carefully selected furnishings, and moments of contrast that reveal how much thought has gone into a space.
When I’m photographing Laura, I’m constantly looking for those visual connections. I want the finished photographs to feel layered and inviting, allowing someone viewing them to notice something new each time they look.
A Creative Relationship I Truly Value
Photographing Laura over multiple features has been especially meaningful to me because I’ve been able to see her creative story develop over time. There’s something incredibly rewarding about returning to photograph someone whose work I admire and continuing to find new ways to tell that story.
These sessions remind me why editorial photography is so special to me. I’m not simply documenting beautiful spaces I’m building a visual record of the people, ideas, and creative vision behind them.
Creating Images That Celebrate Her Vision
I’m so grateful for every opportunity I have had to photograph Laura Kehoe Design. From the interiors themselves to the beautifully curated pieces in the shop, there is always something thoughtful waiting to be discovered through my lens.
I leave every session with an even greater appreciation for the power of intentional design and for the creative people who make the places around us feel extraordinary.
